Equality analysis has been developed as a way of ensuring that all equality issues are considered when drawing up policies and practices for service delivery and employment.
Although not a requirement of the general or specific equality duties, we will continue with the programme of equality analysis. The process is more focused on the analysis of evidence to support decisions made and is already proving useful as a part of our change management process.
