Report a lost, damaged or stolen bus pass

Overview

If your bus pass was issued by us and has been lost, damaged or stolen, please let us know as soon as possible by completing our online form.

If your pass was not issued for a Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole address

If your pass was issued for an address outside of the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area and you have moved to Christchurch since it was issued, you will not be able to replace it online or over the phone. You will need to apply to us for an older person's bus pass or disabled person's bus pass as a new applicant.

If you have moved out of  the Bournemouth, Christchurch or Poole area

If you have moved out of the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area, we will not be able to replace a lost, damaged or stolen bus pass which was issued by us. You will need to apply to your new council for your new bus pass.

Report a lost bus pass

If you lose your older person's or disabled bus pass we can replace it for a £10 fee. Please use our form to report it to us. You will need to create or login to your online account first. 

The pass reported as lost will be cancelled so that it will no longer work on the buses.

Report a damaged bus pass

If your card is visibly damaged, for example, it is excessively worn, cracked or physically broken, there is a £10 charge for a replacement. Please use our form to let us know you need a replacement. You will need to create or login to your online account first. 

If the pass stops working but there is no obvious damage, then please bring it or post it to the Concessionary Fares Team at Civic Centre, Poole, to be inspected and if there is no visible damage it may be replaced free of charge. Please note that BCP Council can accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to a pass whilst in the post to us.

Report a stolen bus pass

If your pass has been stolen, you have reported it to the police and have been given a crime number then it can be replaced free of charge. Please use our form to let us know that your bus pass has been stolen and you need a new one.

You can contact the police on their non emergency telephone number, 101.
