General information

BCP Council is responsible for traffic lights and signal equipment throughout Christchurch, such as:

• traffic lights controlling junctions

• the approval of temporary lights controlling traffic at roadworks or events - apply to place portable traffic lights on the highway

• pedestrian crossings

• school crossing wig-wags (flashing amber lights)
