Children's regular library fun sessions from birth to 5 years

These sessions are free and you don't have to be a member of the library to come along.

All children must be accompanied by a parent or carer, or other responsible adult.

Please check with the library to check if events are running between Christmas and New Year.

Wriggle and Rhyme

Wriggle and Rhyme is a fun and interactive session for babies, toddlers and their parents or carers. Loads of noisy fun and instruments to shake and rattle.

Wriggle and Rhyme sessions are aimed at babies and toddlers under 2 with their parents and carers (but all children are welcome). The session is based on sharing nursery rhymes, action songs, musical instruments and board books. It is fun, interactive and noisy!

Nursery rhymes are great for language development. Sign up for free library membership for your baby and share and enjoy stories at home.

Toddler Time

Toddler Time drop in session for children under five and their parents and carers.

Toddler Time is a fun interactive session for parents and carers to share with their children, with a good mix of stories, rhymes and songs. The sessions are aimed at under 5's but all children are welcome to attend. They may include a creative book related activity.

Enjoying these library sessions will help children develop an early love of language, rhymes and songs, which build a firm foundation for learning to read.

Sign up for free library membership and share stories and rhymes at home.
