There are 498 plots on 5 enclosed sites in Christchurch. All sites have a dip tank water supply. Allotments in Christchurch are the responsibility of either Christchurch Town Council (CTC) or Highcliffe and Walkford Neighbourhood Council (HWPC).

Annual allotment charges

Residents currently pay a reduced rate because of their council tax contribution. From December 2019 charges will be set by CTC and HWPC in accordance with their own policies.

Allotment sites and vacancies

Any change in allocation policy are a matter for CTC or HWPC. Until policy changes apply, new plots are only allocated to residents of Christchurch and in accordance with the previous authorities Allotments Strategy. At present new applicants are offered a maximum of 5 rods. Enquiries for taking an allotment should be made to the contact for the site to check availability. Any other enquiries should be made to the respective Town or Parish Clerk.

There are vacancies on some sites and others have waiting lists. You should contact the site to check:
