Household enquiry form (annual canvass) - change to service
Every year we ask all properties to check who is eligible to register to vote (this is part of our annual canvass).
This year between June and September you may receive an email from us (BCP Council Electoral Services) with ‘Act now so BCP Council can check who is eligible to be registered to vote at your address’ as the subject.
It will ask you to confirm your details at www.householdresponse.com/bcpcouncil, and include:
- your security codes
- steps on how to access your household details
Not everyone will be sent an email, some residents will still be contacted by post.
To be sent a form to register
Please contact Electoral Services on 01202 633097 and they will either take your details over the phone or send you an Individual Registration Form.
If you have received a Household Enquiry Form for your property
Please follow the instructions on the form and respond online, alternatively you can add, delete or amend any details on the form and return it to us. We will then invite each new individual to register to vote or take steps to delete those no longer resident.
If you don't respond to the Household Enquiry form, you'll be sent a reminder. You may also receive a canvasser visit during the door-knocking stage.
Please help us to keep costs down by responding promptly.
