The role of the Learning Disability Partnership Board (BCP LDPB)
The role of the Learning Disability Partnership Board (LDPB) is to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities in the BCP Council area by:
- promoting their independence, choice, rights and inclusion
- making sure they are treated as equal citizens with access to mainstream services such as health, housing, employment and education
- making sure outside bodies consult with the LDPB as their main source of information when planning and making decisions that affect the lives of people with learning disabilities.
The Big Plan
The Big Plan 2018 to 2021has now been published. It explains how BCP Council and the Clinical Commissioning Group will work together to provide health and social care services for adults with learning disabilities.
